The PARKER HN1S-AUN is an adsorber-type compressed air filter designed to remove oil vapor, hydrocarbons, and odors from compressed air lines. It handles flow rates up to 15 standard cubic feet per minute (SCFM) and connects via a 1/4 inch NPT port. The aluminum bowl and aluminum body keep weight low while providing durable service in shop air and process air applications. At 8.8 inches tall and 3.11 inches wide, it fits into tight panel or inline installations. A manual drain handles condensate removal. This filter is installed by HVAC technicians, pipefitters, and industrial maintenance personnel working on compressed air distribution systems.
The HN1S-AUN is suited for residential shops, light commercial facilities, and industrial process lines where clean, dry compressed air is required downstream of a compressor. It is typically installed in a filter assembly or modular filter-regulator-lubricator (FRL) line. Applications include pneumatic tool supply, spray finishing, and instrumentation air lines where hydrocarbon contamination must be controlled. The Series H housing design is common in modular compressed air treatment setups.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new installation component for compressed air treatment systems using 1/4 inch NPT threaded connections and PARKER Series H modular filter assemblies.
Installation should be performed by a qualified pipefitter, HVAC technician, or industrial maintenance technician familiar with compressed air systems. Depressurize and isolate the air line fully before removing or installing any filter component. Ensure NPT threads are sealed with thread sealant tape or compound rated for compressed air service. Follow applicable OSHA and local codes governing compressed air system maintenance and pressure vessel handling.
