The PARKER HN15S-AUN is a Series H adsorber compressed air filter designed to remove oil vapor, odors, and other gaseous contaminants from compressed air lines. It uses an adsorber media bed rather than a mechanical element, making it the appropriate downstream stage after coalescing filtration in instrument-quality air systems. Rated at 20 standard cubic feet per minute (SCFM), the unit features an automatic drain and an aluminum bowl. The port is 3/8 in NPT. At 2 pounds and 8.8 inches tall with a 3.11 in width, it is compact enough for panel or inline mounting in tight mechanical rooms or equipment enclosures.
This filter is suited for applications where dry, contaminant-free air is critical: laboratory instrumentation, pneumatic control systems, spray finishing operations, and process air lines in light commercial or industrial settings. HVAC and refrigeration technicians installing pneumatic control systems, as well as industrial maintenance professionals maintaining air-powered instrumentation, are the primary installers. The automatic drain reduces maintenance intervals compared to manual-drain configurations.
Designed as an OEM-style inline replacement for adsorber-stage compressed air filter assemblies using 3/8 in NPT connections, consistent with Parker Series H filter system configurations.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with compressed air system piping and pneumatic controls. Depressurize and lock out the air supply before removing the existing filter or installing this unit. The filter should be installed in the correct flow direction with the automatic drain oriented downward to function properly. Consult applicable compressed air system codes and the equipment manufacturer guidelines for line sizing and placement relative to upstream coalescing filters and downstream regulators.
