The PARKER HN15L-AUN is an adsorber-type compressed air filter designed to remove oil vapor and odors from compressed air lines. Built around an activated-carbon or similar adsorption media, it provides clean, dry-quality air output suited for sensitive pneumatic systems, spray finishing, and instrument air applications. The filter handles up to 40 Standard Cubic Feet Per Minute (SCFM) of airflow and connects via 3/8 inch NPT end connections. The bowl and body are constructed from aluminum, keeping weight manageable while resisting corrosion in typical shop-air environments. An automatic drain removes accumulated condensate without manual intervention, reducing maintenance intervals on active systems.
This filter is intended for use in compressed air distribution systems where oil vapor, odors, or trace hydrocarbon contamination must be eliminated downstream of a standard particulate or coalescing filter. Typical installations include industrial production lines, paint booths, food-adjacent pneumatic processes, and medical or laboratory air systems that require clean air at point of use. It is sized for light-to-medium flow demand applications and fits neatly into filter bank assemblies or standalone inline service.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation adsorber filter for compressed air systems using 3/8 inch NPT connections and requiring up to 40 SCFM flow capacity.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with compressed air system service. Depressurize and isolate the air line completely before removing or installing any inline filter component. Use appropriate thread sealant on NPT connections and verify all fittings are secure before re-pressurizing the system. Adsorber filters are typically installed downstream of a coalescing pre-filter to maximize media service life.
