The PARKER HN15L-6CW is a coalescing compressed air filter designed to remove oil aerosols, water droplets, and fine particulates from compressed air lines. Rated at 0.01 micron, it delivers high-efficiency filtration suitable for sensitive pneumatic instrumentation, spray finishing, and process air applications. The unit flows up to 40 standard cubic feet per minute (SCFM) through a 3/8 inch NPT port and features an aluminum bowl and body construction. A manual drain allows controlled removal of collected contaminants. This filter is part of the Parker Series H filtration line and is typically installed by industrial maintenance technicians, pipefitters, or HVAC-mechanical contractors.
This filter is suited for compressed air systems in light industrial, commercial, and mechanical room environments where clean, dry air is required downstream of the compressor. Typical installations include instrument air supply lines, pneumatic control systems, and air-operated tools or equipment requiring sub-micron oil removal. The 3/8 inch NPT end connections make it compatible with standard threaded pipe or fitting configurations common in trade installations.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation coalescing filter for compressed air systems using 3/8 inch NPT threaded connections, consistent with Parker Series H filter housings.
Installation should be performed by a qualified pipefitter, industrial mechanic, or licensed mechanical contractor. Depressurize and lock out the compressed air system before installing or servicing this filter. Thread sealant or PTFE tape should be applied to NPT threads per standard practice. Mount the filter vertically with the bowl facing down to allow proper drainage, and confirm the manual drain is closed before returning the system to service.
