This unit effectively stores refrigerant and features a solid steel shell along with durable copper connections for reliable refrigerant lines. The U-tube design enhances the flow of refrigerant while minimizing oil entrapment, optimizing performance. The device is coated with a powder paint to resist corrosion, surpassing the rigorous 500-hour ASTM salt spray test. Enhanced safety is provided through integral forty-three hundred degree Fahrenheit fusible plugs. Additionally, a metering orifice is included for better control of refrigerant, and the unit is designed to be mounted vertically. It has a shell diameter of four inches and a height of nine inches.
