The PARKER H3C is a pneumatic hose coupling connector designed for industrial compressed air and pneumatic fluid systems. Built from steel with a zinc chromate finish for corrosion resistance, this threaded connector features a female NPTF 1/4-18 thread and a 1/4 inch body diameter. It carries a maximum working pressure of 300 psi, making it suitable for standard industrial pneumatic service. The H3C conforms to the Industrial Interchange coupling standard, ensuring broad cross-compatibility across pneumatic tool and equipment setups. Licensed HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical contractors as well as industrial maintenance technicians install this type of fitting in compressed air distribution and pneumatic control circuits.
The H3C connector is used in industrial and commercial settings where quick-connect pneumatic systems require a reliable threaded entry point. It is appropriate for compressed air lines serving pneumatic tools, actuators, and control equipment. The Industrial Interchange profile is one of the most widely used coupling standards in North American shop and facility maintenance environments, covering a broad range of pneumatic tool brands and air supply manifolds. Its compact overall length of 1.56 inches and 0.62 inch hex size allow installation in tight spaces with standard open-end or combination wrenches.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation connector for Industrial Interchange pneumatic coupling systems using 1/4-18 female NPTF threaded connections in industrial compressed air applications.
Depressurize and lock out the compressed air supply before removing or installing any pneumatic coupling. Female NPTF threads are designed for dryseal engagement; inspect mating male threads for damage before assembly. Tighten to snug engagement using a properly sized wrench on the hex flat — do not over-tighten, as NPTF threads can crack fittings if driven past hand-tight by excessive turns. Verify working pressure of the system does not exceed the 300 psi rating of this connector before returning the line to service.
