The PARKER H3-62 is a female pipe rigid fitting designed for hydraulic hose assemblies in demanding fluid-power applications. Manufactured from steel with a straight body and NPTF threaded connection, this fitting provides a pressure-rated seal at up to 4,000 psi. It measures 2.49 inches in overall length with a 3/8 inch body diameter and 3/8 inch thread size. The H3-62 is part of Parker's Series 60 fitting line, built to ISO 7241-1 Series B standards. Hydraulic technicians and industrial maintenance professionals use this fitting to terminate or connect hose ends in high-pressure fluid circuits.
This fitting is suited for a broad range of fluid-power and process applications including industrial hydraulic lines, mobile equipment hydraulics, food and chemical processing lines, gas lines, and water and coolant circuits. The NPTF thread form creates a dry-seal mechanical connection without relying solely on thread sealant, making it appropriate for systems where leak-free performance is critical. Maximum flow rate is rated at 6.00 GPM (23.00 LPM). It is sold individually and is appropriate for both shop fabrication and field hose repair.
Designed for use with industrial hydraulic lines, mobile equipment, food and chemical processing systems, gas lines, and water and coolant lines. Compatible with 3/8 inch hose sizes in Series 60 hydraulic hose assemblies per ISO 7241-1 Series B.
Installation should be performed by a qualified hydraulic technician or industrial maintenance professional. Depressurize and bleed down the hydraulic system fully before removing or installing any fittings. NPTF threads rely on mechanical thread-form interference for sealing — inspect threads for damage before assembly and apply thread sealant only as required by the system specification. Torque to the fitting and port manufacturer specifications using appropriate hydraulic fitting tools.
