The PARKER H12-63N is a female pipe rigid straight fitting designed for hydraulic hose connections in demanding fluid and gas handling systems. Built from steel with an NPTF threaded connection, it carries a maximum working pressure of 1,500 psi and supports flow rates up to 100 gallons per minute (GPM). The 1-1/2 inch hose size and 1-1/2 inch thread size make it a direct, no-adapter connection point in medium-to-large bore hydraulic circuits. At 4.76 inches overall length and 2.83 pounds, it is a substantial, duty-rated component intended for professional installation in industrial and mobile equipment applications. It conforms to ISO 7241-1, Series B standards.
This fitting is suited for a wide range of service environments including industrial hydraulic lines, mobile equipment, food and chemical processing systems, gas lines, and water and coolant circuits. The NPTF thread form provides a pressure-tight mechanical seal without relying solely on a sealant, making it appropriate for high-cycle or high-pressure service scenarios where leak integrity is critical. It is commonly installed at hose-to-manifold, hose-to-pump, or hose-to-actuator termination points.
Designed for use with food and chemical processing lines, gas systems, industrial hydraulic lines, mobile equipment, and water and coolant lines per manufacturer application data. Hose size and thread size are both 1-1/2 inches; confirm system port and hose end specifications before installation.
Installation should be performed by a qualified hydraulic technician or pipefitter. Depressurize and drain the hydraulic circuit fully before removing or installing any fittings. NPTF threads are self-sealing by design, but consult system requirements to determine whether thread sealant is appropriate for the specific fluid media. Torque to the fitting manufacturer and system designer specifications; do not over-torque, as this can deform the thread sealing surfaces.
