The PARKER GTC-4 is a compression tube union designed to join two lengths of tubing in a straight-line connection without soldering, threading, or adhesives. It accepts 1/4 inch outside-diameter tubing and is constructed from Perfluoroalkoxy (PFA) and Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) materials, making it chemically resistant and suitable for aggressive fluid and gas service environments. The plastic grip-type compression mechanism provides a secure, leak-resistant seal when properly seated. Plumbers, HVAC technicians, and industrial service technicians install this fitting in systems where chemical compatibility and corrosion resistance are required.
This compression union is well-suited for use in residential and light commercial plumbing, HVAC refrigerant or chemical feed lines, laboratory tubing systems, and any application where PFA or PTFE tubing is routed through a straight union connection. The fitting is sold individually and is sized for 1/4 inch OD tubing, a common dimension in instrumentation, chemical dosing, and fluid transfer applications.
Designed as an OEM-style compression union fitting compatible with 1/4 inch OD PFA and PTFE tubing in fluid and gas transfer applications.
Installation is performed by plumbers, HVAC technicians, or instrumentation technicians. Before installing, shut off fluid or gas flow and relieve any system pressure. Insert tubing fully into both ends of the union and hand-tighten the compression nuts until snug, then verify a leak-free connection before returning the system to service. Follow all applicable IPC and local plumbing codes for the specific application.
