The PARKER GSC-2 is a compression tube union designed to connect two lengths of tubing in a straight-line configuration without the use of tools or solder. The fitting accepts 1/8 inch tube outside diameter and is constructed from Perfluoroalkoxy (PFA) and Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) materials, making it well suited for applications where chemical resistance and low friction are required. The plastic grip type provides secure tube retention under compression. At 0.05 pounds, the GSC-2 is a lightweight single-piece union used in instrumentation, fluid handling, and process control lines by plumbers, HVAC technicians, and instrumentation mechanics.
This compression tube union is intended for use in tubing systems that carry aggressive chemicals, high-purity fluids, or gases where metal fittings would be unsuitable. PFA and PTFE construction makes the GSC-2 appropriate for laboratory equipment, chemical processing lines, semiconductor fabrication support systems, and similar instrumentation applications.
