The PARKER GEC-4 is a compression-style tube union designed to join two sections of tubing with a secure, leak-resistant connection. Constructed from Perfluoroalkoxy (PFA) and Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), this fitting is built to handle chemically aggressive media and high-purity fluid handling systems. It accepts a 1/4 inch tube outside diameter and uses a plastic grip-type compression mechanism that requires no soldering, threading, or special tooling to assemble. Plumbers, industrial pipefitters, and fluid system technicians install this fitting where corrosion resistance and chemical compatibility are required.
This union fitting is suited for laboratory, semiconductor, chemical processing, and high-purity fluid transfer applications where metal fittings are not appropriate. The PFA and PTFE construction makes it compatible with a wide range of aggressive chemicals, solvents, and ultrapure water systems. It is used in both inline repair and new-construction tubing runs requiring a straight union connection at 1/4 inch tube OD.
Designed as an OEM-style compression tube union for 1/4 inch outside diameter tubing in chemical-resistant and high-purity fluid system applications.
Installation is performed by qualified pipefitters or fluid system technicians. Shut off all flow and depressurize the line before installing or removing any compression fitting. Ensure tubing ends are cut cleanly and squarely to achieve a proper seal. Do not overtighten the compression nut, as PFA and PTFE components can deform under excessive torque.
