The PARKER gbw.un5163412050b is a suction-line-only insulated lineset designed for unitary HVAC systems. It pairs a bare copper coil for the suction line with a pre-insulated liquid line, delivering a ready-to-install solution that reduces field prep time. The suction line insulation features a protective polyethylene outer jacket that resists tearing during pull-through and rough handling. Foot markings printed along the insulation allow technicians to measure accurately for initial refrigerant charge calculations and to minimize copper waste. This lineset is rated for high-pressure refrigerant applications including R-410A systems.
This lineset is suited for residential and light commercial unitary split-system installations where a pre-insulated suction line simplifies the rough-in process. The 50-foot length covers standard line runs from the indoor air handler to the outdoor condensing unit. HVAC technicians installing ductless mini-splits, traditional split systems, or package unit connections will find the pre-insulated configuration reduces installation steps on the job site. The UV-resistant insulation allows exterior routing without immediate degradation, and the paintable surface lets installers match the lineset to exterior wall finishes when aesthetics are a consideration.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-install lineset for unitary split-system HVAC applications requiring a 5/16 inches to 3/4 inches suction line and 1/2 inches liquid line configuration.
Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC technician in accordance with applicable mechanical codes and refrigerant handling regulations. De-energize and recover all refrigerant from the system before disconnecting or connecting lineset fittings. Seal the open end of the copper pipe completely when connecting to the AC unit to prevent moisture or debris from entering the insulation. When routing in exposed exterior locations, applying a high-quality exterior paint over the insulation and installing under plastic duct where possible is recommended for long-term protection.
