The PARKER gbw.un387812050b is a pre-insulated suction line lineset designed for unitary split-system HVAC installations. The assembly pairs a bare copper liquid line with a factory-pre-insulated suction line, eliminating field insulation wrap on the suction side. The suction line measures 7/8 inches in diameter and the liquid line measures 3/8 inches in diameter, with insulation wall thickness of 1/2 inch. Total lineset length is 50 feet. An outer polyethylene jacket protects the foam insulation during pulling and routing. HVAC technicians installing residential or light commercial split systems are the primary users of this product.
This lineset is suited for residential and light commercial unitary split-system applications. It is rated for use with high-pressure refrigerants including R-410A. The outer jacket is available in black or white, and the insulation surface is paintable to match architectural surroundings or meet property requirements. Foot markings are printed incrementally along the insulation to support accurate initial refrigerant charge calculations and minimize copper waste during rough-in. It is appropriate for both interior and exposed exterior installations when properly protected.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and new-installation lineset for residential and light commercial unitary split-system air conditioning and heat pump equipment using 3/8 inch liquid line and 7/8 inch suction line connections.
Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC technician in accordance with applicable mechanical codes. Power down and recover refrigerant from any existing system before disconnecting or connecting lineset ends. Seal the cut ends of the copper tubing completely when connecting to the AC unit to prevent moisture or debris from entering the insulation. When installed in exposed exterior areas, use a high-quality exterior-grade paint over the jacket for added UV and weather protection; installation under plastic duct is also recommended for exposed runs.
