The PARKER GBMT-664 is a compression tube male branch tee designed for use in fluid handling and instrumentation tubing systems. This fitting creates a branch connection off a straight tube run while providing a male threaded port, allowing three-way flow distribution without additional adapters. Constructed from Perfluoroalkoxy (PFA) and Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) materials, the GBMT-664 offers excellent chemical resistance and is well suited for aggressive media, high-purity fluid lines, and applications where metal contamination is not acceptable. It is installed by plumbers, instrumentation technicians, and industrial maintenance professionals working with 3/8 inch OD compression tubing.
This fitting is used in residential and commercial fluid handling installations, laboratory and analytical instrument plumbing, chemical processing lines, and semiconductor or high-purity water systems. The plastic PFA/PTFE construction makes it a preferred choice where corrosive chemicals, acids, or ultrapure fluids are present. The compression design eliminates the need for soldering, brazing, or specialized tooling, enabling fast and repeatable field connections in tight spaces or sensitive environments.

Installation is typically performed by licensed plumbers or instrumentation technicians familiar with compression fitting assembly. Before installing, shut off all fluid supply and relieve system pressure completely. Hand-tighten the compression nut to seat the ferrule, then apply only the additional turns specified by the fitting manufacturer to avoid over-compression and cracking of the plastic body. PFA and PTFE fittings are sensitive to overtorque — do not use pipe wrenches or excessive force on the plastic components.
