The PARKER GAMS-66 is a compression tube male straight adapter designed for use with 3/8 inch outside diameter tubing. It provides a secure, leak-resistant connection between compression tubing and male-threaded fittings in fluid handling and instrumentation systems. Constructed from Perfluoroalkoxy (PFA) and Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), this adapter delivers excellent chemical resistance and low friction characteristics. The plastic grip type simplifies hand-tightening during installation. It is a single-piece fitting sold individually and is appropriate for plumbing, chemical transfer, HVAC, and industrial fluid systems where corrosion resistance and purity are required.
This adapter is suited for residential and light commercial applications involving high-purity fluid transfer, chemical lines, and instrumentation tubing runs. PFA and PTFE construction makes it particularly applicable in environments where aggressive chemicals, high-purity media, or elevated temperature resistance is required. Plumbers, pipefitters, and instrumentation technicians commonly install this fitting in process piping, laboratory systems, and specialty HVAC refrigerant or chemical feed lines where metal fittings are not appropriate.
Designed as an OEM-style compression fitting for use with 3/8 inch OD tubing in fluid handling, instrumentation, and specialty piping systems requiring PFA or PTFE material compatibility.
Installation is typically performed by licensed plumbers or pipefitters familiar with compression fitting assembly. Shut off all fluid supply and depressurize the line before disassembly or installation. Ensure tubing is cut cleanly and squarely before inserting into the compression fitting to achieve a proper seal. Do not overtighten — hand-tighten first, then apply only the minimal additional turns required per the fitting manufacturer guidelines to avoid cracking the PFA or PTFE body.
