The PARKER FSC-4 is a compression tube union designed to join two lengths of tubing in a straight-line configuration without the need for flared or soldered connections. Constructed from Perfluoroalkoxy (PFA) and Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) materials, this union provides excellent chemical resistance and is well suited for high-purity fluid handling systems. It accepts a 1/4 inch tube outside diameter and uses a plastic grip-style compression fitting mechanism. The FSC-4 is typically installed by plumbers, industrial pipe fitters, or lab-system technicians working with chemically aggressive or ultra-pure media lines.
This compression tube union is commonly used in applications where corrosion-resistant, non-metallic fittings are required. Typical installations include chemical process lines, semiconductor fabrication fluid circuits, laboratory tubing systems, and other high-purity or aggressive-media environments. The PFA and PTFE construction makes it appropriate for use with acids, solvents, and other fluids that would degrade standard brass or stainless fittings. It is packaged as a single-unit item.
Designed as an OEM-style compression fitting for 1/4 inch outside diameter tubing used in chemical process, laboratory, and high-purity fluid handling systems.
Installation is performed by plumbers or pipe fitters familiar with compression-style plastic fittings. Shut off and depressurize the fluid line completely before disassembly or fitting installation. Follow the tubing manufacturer's insertion depth guidelines and hand-tighten the compression nut before applying a final snug turn with a wrench — avoid over-tightening, which can crack PFA or PTFE components. Verify there are no leaks by slowly re-pressurizing the line after installation.
