The PARKER FP718-10 is a pleated resin-bonded cellulose cartridge filter designed for use in commercial and industrial liquid filtration systems. At 18 inches long with a 6.25-inch outside diameter and a 10-micron rating, this filter removes sediment, particulate, and suspended solids from water and compatible fluid streams. The pleated construction increases surface area compared to wound cartridges, supporting longer service intervals between changeouts. A licensed plumber or pipefitter should install or replace this cartridge in accordance with local plumbing codes and the housing manufacturer's instructions. Shut off the upstream supply valve and relieve system pressure before opening the filter housing. Inspect the housing O-ring or gasket at each cartridge changeout and replace it if it shows any cracking or deformation. Do not exceed the rated temperature or pressure limits of the housing assembly.
