The PARKER FB6TPL is a push-to-connect tube fitting plug designed to seal off 3/8-inch OD tubing lines without tools. The fitting body is constructed from Kynar (PVDF), a high-performance thermoplastic that resists aggressive chemicals, UV exposure, and high-purity fluid applications. An FKM o-ring provides the primary seal, rated for compatibility with a wide range of oils, fuels, and chemical media. The plug is rated to 250 psi working pressure and carries a vacuum rating of 28 in-Hg, making it suitable for both pressure and vacuum line terminations. Plumbers, industrial pipefitters, and mechanical technicians use this fitting to cap active or future connection points quickly and securely.
This plug is well suited for chemical processing lines, water treatment systems, laboratory fluid circuits, and industrial pneumatic or hydraulic tubing runs where Kynar chemical resistance is specified. The push-to-connect mechanism allows fast, repeatable installation in tight spaces without wrenches or sealant tape, making it a practical choice for field service and panel-mount plumbing where 3/8-inch OD tubing is used. Its black color aids visual identification in multi-line installations.
Designed as an OEM-style push-to-connect plug for use with 3/8-inch OD tubing in pneumatic, hydraulic, chemical, and water treatment fluid systems requiring Kynar-rated fittings.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber, pipefitter, or qualified mechanical technician. Before installing or removing the plug, depressurize and isolate the line completely and verify the tubing end is cut cleanly and squarely with no burrs. Insert the tubing end fully into the fitting until it seats to ensure a proper seal. To release the fitting, depress the collet ring before pulling the tubing free.
