The PARKER FB6TMC4 is a push-to-connect tube stem adapter designed for fluid and pneumatic line connections in plumbing, HVAC, and industrial piping systems. This fitting accepts 3/8 inch outside diameter tubing and features a 1/4 inch NPTF threaded end for secure, leak-resistant attachment to mating ports. Constructed from Kynar (PVDF), it offers strong resistance to corrosive chemicals and elevated pressures. The FKM o-ring provides a reliable seal across a wide range of media. Rated to 250 psi and capable of handling a vacuum rating of 28 in-Hg, it suits demanding service environments where both pressure and vacuum conditions may occur. Installation requires no tools on the tube-insertion side, reducing labor time in the field.
This adapter is suited for residential and light commercial applications involving chemical feed lines, water treatment systems, pool and spa plumbing, and HVAC condensate or fluid transfer lines. The Kynar construction makes it appropriate for use with mildly aggressive fluids where standard brass or nylon fittings would degrade. It is installed by plumbers, HVAC technicians, and pool service professionals wherever a push-to-connect tube port must transition to an NPTF-threaded port on a valve, manifold, or equipment panel.
Designed as an OEM-style push-to-connect tube stem adapter for systems using 3/8 inch OD tubing with a 1/4 inch NPTF threaded port interface.
Installation is performed by licensed plumbers or qualified HVAC and pool service technicians. Shut off system pressure and bleed the line before removing any existing fitting. Ensure the mating NPTF port is clean and free of debris before threading the fitting; apply thread sealant per the system manufacturer recommendation and applicable plumbing code. Tube insertion requires that the tube end be cut square and deburred before pushing fully into the collet to achieve a proper seal.
