The PARKER FB6EU4-HBLK is a push-to-connect union tube fitting designed for 3/8-inch OD tubing. It provides a tool-free, straight-through connection between two tube runs without the need for ferrules, nuts, or additional sealants. The fitting body is constructed from Kynar (PVDF), a chemically resistant thermoplastic suitable for aggressive fluid and gas service. An FKM o-ring provides the primary tube seal. Rated to 250 psi, this fitting suits demanding fluid-handling applications where corrosion resistance and secure tube retention are required. Plumbers, process piping technicians, and industrial maintenance professionals install this type of fitting in chemical transfer, water treatment, and instrumentation tubing systems.
This fitting is suited for residential and light commercial fluid-handling installations as well as industrial process lines where Kynar construction is specified for chemical compatibility. The push-to-connect mechanism accepts standard 3/8-inch OD tubing and allows for quick field connections. The black color designation and FKM o-ring material indicate compatibility with a range of fluid media where EPDM or buna o-rings would be unsuitable. Applications include water treatment systems, chemical dosing lines, instrumentation tubing runs, and similar low-to-medium pressure plumbing circuits.
Designed as an OEM-style push-to-connect union replacement for systems using 3/8-inch OD tubing where Kynar body construction and FKM o-ring seals are specified.
Installation is performed by qualified plumbing or process piping technicians. Shut off system pressure and depressurize the line completely before removing or installing any push-to-connect fitting. Ensure tubing ends are cut squarely and are free of burrs, deformation, or contamination before insertion. Verify that the tubing OD matches the fitting specification exactly, as undersized or oversized tube will not form a proper seal.
