The PARKER FB4TMC4 is a push-to-connect tube stem adapter designed for pneumatic and fluid handling systems where quick, reliable tubing connections are required. Constructed from Kynar (PVDF), this fitting handles up to 250 psi working pressure and is rated for a vacuum of 28 in-Hg, making it suitable for both pressure and vacuum service. It accepts 1/4-inch OD tubing and threads into 1/4-inch NPTF ports. The FKM o-ring provides chemical resistance across a broad range of media. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and pneumatic system technicians typically install this fitting in process, instrumentation, and fluid control applications.
This adapter is suited for residential and light commercial pneumatic lines, instrumentation tubing, and chemical handling systems where Kynar material compatibility is required. The push-to-connect design speeds up assembly and reduces the need for additional tube preparation tools. It is commonly installed in control panels, chemical feed systems, and air or fluid distribution manifolds where 1/4-inch NPTF threaded ports are present.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement push-to-connect tube stem adapter for systems using 1/4-inch OD tubing with 1/4-inch NPTF threaded ports in pneumatic, instrumentation, or chemical fluid handling applications.
Installation is typically performed by licensed pipefitters, pneumatic technicians, or instrumentation specialists. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing or installing any fittings. Inspect the NPTF port threads for damage before threading in the adapter, and use an appropriate thread sealant or tape in accordance with system media requirements and applicable codes. Do not over-torque the fitting body, as Kynar is a thermoplastic material and can crack under excessive mechanical stress.
