The PARKER FB4TEU6-HBLK is a push-to-connect tube plug fitting designed to seal off open tube lines quickly and without tools. Built from Kynar (PVDF) with a black finish, this fitting accepts 1/4 inch outside diameter tubing and is rated for vacuum service up to 28 in-Hg. The FKM o-ring provides strong resistance to aggressive chemicals, fuels, and elevated temperatures, making this plug well suited for demanding fluid and pneumatic systems. HVAC technicians, plumbers, and industrial piping professionals install this type of fitting when capping unused ports or temporarily isolating a line during service or system reconfiguration.
This fitting is used in residential and commercial applications wherever push-to-connect plumbing or pneumatic tubing must be terminated at a dead end. Typical install scenarios include capping unused manifold ports, sealing branch lines during phased construction, or isolating sections of a pneumatic control circuit. The Kynar construction makes it appropriate for mildly corrosive media and environments where standard brass or nylon fittings would be unsuitable. It is sold individually and requires no additional hardware beyond compatible 1/4 inch OD tubing.
Designed for use with 1/4 inch outside diameter push-to-connect tubing in pneumatic, fluid control, and HVAC applications. Compatible with standard push-to-connect fittings that accept 1/4 inch OD tube.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with the system being serviced. Before inserting or removing the plug, relieve all pressure from the line and shut off the fluid or air supply at the nearest isolation valve. Insert the tubing or plug firmly until it seats fully in the collet to ensure a leak-free connection. Verify the o-ring is seated and undamaged before returning the system to service.
