The PARKER FB4MES4-HBLK is a push-to-connect 90-degree male swivel elbow tube fitting designed for tube-to-pipe connections in compressed air, pneumatic control, and fluid handling systems. It accepts 1/4-inch OD tubing and threads into a 1/4-inch NPTF port. The body is molded from Kynar, a chemically resistant fluoropolymer that holds up in corrosive or high-purity fluid environments. The FKM o-ring provides a reliable seal against the mating port face. Rated to 250 psi working pressure with a vacuum rating of 28 in-Hg, this fitting suits both pressurized and vacuum-side applications. It is installed by licensed plumbers, HVAC mechanics, or industrial pipefitters working on fluid or pneumatic circuits.
This fitting is suited for residential and light commercial applications where 1/4-inch OD tubing must change direction 90 degrees and terminate at a male NPTF threaded port. Common install scenarios include condensate management lines, chemical dosing circuits, refrigeration accessory plumbing, pool and spa chemical feed systems, and general pneumatic control tubing. The push-to-connect collet allows fast, tool-free tube insertion. The swivel elbow design permits the male thread to be tightened into the port while the tube entry angle is adjusted independently, reducing stress on tubing runs.
Designed as an OEM-style push-to-connect fitting for systems using 1/4-inch OD tubing and 1/4-inch NPTF threaded ports in pneumatic, chemical, or fluid handling applications.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber, HVAC technician, or industrial pipefitter. Shut off and depressurize the line and verify zero pressure before disconnecting any existing fitting. Thread the male NPTF end into the port hand-tight, then tighten with a wrench to achieve a proper thread engagement without overtightening the Kynar body. Insert the tubing straight into the push-to-connect collet until it seats fully, and tug gently to confirm retention before returning the system to service.
