The PARKER FB4MC6-HBLK is a push-to-connect tube-to-pipe connector fitting designed for quick, tool-free tube connections in fluid and pneumatic systems. Built from Kynar (PVDF), it handles up to 250 psi working pressure and carries a vacuum rating of 28 in-Hg. The fitting accepts 1/4 inch OD tubing and connects to a 3/8 inch NPTF threaded port. The black color and FKM O-ring construction make it well-suited for applications where chemical resistance and secure sealing are required. HVAC technicians, plumbers, and fluid system technicians commonly install this type of fitting during panel or equipment assembly work.
This fitting is used in residential and light commercial applications where push-to-connect convenience reduces installation time on instrument lines, pneumatic control circuits, or fluid transfer tubing runs. The NPTF thread type provides a pressure-tight mechanical seal without requiring additional sealant tape in many installations. Its compact form factor allows use in tight panel spaces or equipment enclosures. The Kynar body material resists a broad range of chemicals, making it appropriate for corrosive fluid or chemical dosing service in addition to standard air and water systems.
Designed as an OEM-style push-to-connect connector for systems using 1/4 inch OD tubing with 3/8 inch NPTF threaded ports in pneumatic, fluid transfer, or instrumentation applications.
Installation is typically performed by HVAC technicians, plumbers, or instrumentation technicians. Depressurize and isolate the system before removing or installing any fittings. Ensure the tubing end is cut cleanly and squarely for proper O-ring engagement and a leak-free connection. NPTF threads are designed to seal on the thread form itself; follow applicable IPC or system manufacturer guidelines on thread engagement and sealant use.
