The PARKER FB4CAP-HBLK is a push-to-connect tube fitting cap designed to terminate or seal a 1/4 inch OD tube line without the need for tools or solvents. The body is constructed from Kynar, a chemically resistant thermoplastic well suited to aggressive fluid and gas environments. An FKM o-ring provides the primary seal, offering strong resistance to hydrocarbons, solvents, and high-temperature media. Rated to 250 psi and capable of handling a vacuum rating of 28 in-Hg, this cap is appropriate for a wide range of industrial and process-control plumbing applications. Technicians in HVAC, refrigeration, chemical process, and instrumentation work install this type of fitting where a tube end must be capped cleanly and securely.
This fitting cap is used to dead-end 1/4 inch OD tubing in fluid handling systems, pneumatic circuits, and instrumentation lines where chemical compatibility and pressure integrity are required. The Kynar construction makes it particularly appropriate for applications involving corrosive chemicals, chlorinated water, or aggressive industrial fluids where brass or standard thermoplastic fittings would be unsuitable. Its black color allows for quick visual identification in systems where color coding is used to distinguish fluid types or pressure zones.
Designed as an OEM-style push-to-connect cap fitting for 1/4 inch OD tubing in industrial fluid handling, pneumatic, and instrumentation systems requiring chemical-resistant materials.
This fitting is installed by pushing the tubing firmly into the collet until it seats fully against the o-ring. Always depressurize and de-energize the system before removing or installing tube fittings. To release the fitting, press the collet ring inward while withdrawing the tube. Verify that tubing OD is within the fitting manufacturer's tolerance and that the tube end is cut clean and square before insertion to ensure a proper seal.
