The PARKER FAMS-612 is a compression tube male straight adapter designed to connect 3/8 inch OD tubing to a 3/4 inch NPT male threaded port. Constructed from PFA (Perfluoroalkoxy) and PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene), this adapter is built to handle aggressive media, high-purity fluid systems, and chemically demanding environments. The plastic grip-style compression fitting creates a reliable mechanical seal on the tube OD without soldering or adhesive. It is installed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and industrial piping contractors working on fluid handling and instrumentation systems.
This adapter is suited for use in residential and commercial plumbing, chemical processing lines, semiconductor fabrication, and laboratory fluid systems where corrosion resistance and purity are required. The Tube x NPT configuration allows direct inline connection from compression tubing to standard NPT-threaded pipe fittings, valves, or equipment ports. It is commonly used where fluoropolymer-lined or all-fluoropolymer flow paths are required to prevent contamination or chemical attack.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-install fitting for compression tube systems using 3/8 inch OD tubing with 3/4 inch NPT female-threaded connection points in fluoropolymer-compatible plumbing and instrumentation applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified pipefitter following applicable IPC and local plumbing code requirements. Shut off and depressurize the fluid system fully before removing or installing any compression fitting. Insert the tube to full depth in the fitting body before hand-tightening, then follow the manufacturer torque guidance for plastic fittings — do not overtighten, as PFA and PTFE bodies can crack under excessive force. Inspect the compression sleeve and nut for proper seating before returning the system to service.
