The PARKER FAME-62 is a compression tube female adapter elbow designed for use in fluid transfer and instrumentation tubing systems. It connects 3/8-inch OD tubing to a female-threaded port at a 90-degree angle, providing a reliable, leak-resistant joint without soldering or flaring. Constructed from Perfluoroalkoxy (PFA) and Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), this fitting delivers excellent chemical resistance and low friction characteristics. Installation should be performed by a qualified plumber or instrumentation technician familiar with compression fitting assembly procedures. Shut off and depressurize the system completely before removing or installing any fitting. Hand-tighten the compression nut first, then advance with a wrench only until snug — do not overtighten plastic compression components, as this can crack the body or deform the ferrule. Verify system compatibility with PFA and PTFE materials before placing the fitting in service.
