The PARKER CV-1-6688 is a 1/2-inch inline check valve built for fluid and gas systems where backflow prevention is critical. The body and spring are both constructed from polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), giving the valve strong chemical resistance across a wide range of media. Rated at 120 WOG (water, oil, gas), it is suited for low- to moderate-pressure line applications. The PARFLARE x PARFLARE end connections allow for secure, leak-resistant tubing attachment consistent with Parker flare fitting standards. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and refrigeration mechanics are the primary installers of this component.
This valve is designed for inline installation in 1/2-inch pipe or tubing systems where one-directional flow must be maintained. Its all-PTFE construction makes it appropriate for corrosive fluid service, chemical lines, refrigerant circuits, and other applications where metal body valves would be unsuitable. The compact form factor allows installation in tight plumbing or mechanical system runs where space is a constraint. A Cv rating of 2.0 indicates the flow capacity through the valve under rated conditions.
Designed as an OEM-style inline check valve for 1/2-inch PARFLARE connection systems in HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and chemical fluid line applications rated up to 120 WOG.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, HVAC technician, or refrigeration mechanic. Shut off and depressurize the line completely before removing any existing valve or fitting. Verify flow direction arrow or marking on the valve body before finalizing the connection. PTFE components should not be over-torqued during flare fitting assembly, as excess force can deform the sealing surfaces.
