The PARKER CV-1-6666 is an inline check valve designed to allow one-directional flow while preventing backflow in fluid and refrigeration systems. Built with a polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) body and PTFE spring, this valve handles working pressures up to 120 WOG (water, oil, gas). The PARFLARE x PARFLARE end connections suit flared-tube installations common in HVAC and refrigeration lines. With a Cv rating of 1.110, it provides predictable flow characteristics for 3/8 inch pipe sizing. Licensed HVAC technicians and refrigeration service professionals are the primary installers of this component.
This check valve is suited for inline installation in refrigeration circuits, HVAC refrigerant lines, and fluid control systems where backflow prevention is required. The 3/8 inch pipe size and PARFLARE fittings on both ends make it a direct fit for flared-tube assemblies in residential and light commercial systems. Its PTFE construction offers broad chemical compatibility, making it appropriate for use with common refrigerants and hydraulic media where metal body valves may not be preferred.
Designed as an OEM-style inline check valve replacement for 3/8 inch PARFLARE flared-tube connections in HVAC, refrigeration, and fluid control systems rated at or below 120 WOG.
Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC technician or qualified refrigeration mechanic. Recover and isolate refrigerant or depressurize the system fully before removing any existing valve. Verify that flow direction marked on the valve body aligns with the intended system flow path before tightening PARFLARE connections. Follow applicable mechanical codes and manufacturer torque guidelines for flare fittings to avoid joint failure.
