The PARKER CV-1-6644 is a 1/4 inch inline check valve designed to allow flow in one direction while preventing backflow in fluid and gas systems. The body and spring are both constructed from polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), making this valve well suited for chemically aggressive media where metal components would corrode or contaminate the line. It connects via PARFLARE fittings on both the inlet and outlet ends and carries a 120 WOG pressure rating. With a Cv rating of 0.260, flow capacity is appropriate for small-bore instrumentation, refrigeration, or specialty fluid lines. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and instrumentation mechanics are the typical installers.
This valve is used in inline applications where a compact, chemically resistant check valve is required in 1/4 inch piping. PTFE construction makes it a practical choice for lines carrying refrigerants, acids, solvents, or other media incompatible with brass or stainless internals. The PARFLARE x PARFLARE end connections are designed for use with Parker flare-style fittings common in refrigeration and instrumentation tubing assemblies. It is suited for both residential and light commercial system installations where backflow prevention in small-diameter lines is required.
Designed as an OEM-style inline check valve for 1/4 inch PARFLARE piping connections in refrigeration, instrumentation, and chemical fluid systems.
Installation should be performed by a qualified HVAC technician, plumber, or instrumentation mechanic. Isolate and depressurize the line completely before removing any existing fittings or installing this valve. Verify flow-direction markings on the valve body are aligned with intended system flow before tightening PARFLARE connections. Follow applicable codes such as the Uniform Mechanical Code or relevant ASHRAE guidelines for refrigerant line work.
