The PARKER CV-1-2244 is an inline check valve designed to allow one-directional flow while preventing backflow in fluid and pneumatic systems. The body and spring are both constructed from polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), making this valve well-suited for corrosive media, high-purity applications, and environments where metal components would be unsuitable. The valve connects via PARGRIP fittings on both ends and carries a 120 WOG pressure rating. Crack pressure ranges from 0.25 to 0.75 psi, and the Cv flow coefficient is 0.340. This valve is installed by licensed plumbers, industrial pipefitters, or fluid systems technicians working on process or instrumentation lines.
The CV-1-2244 is intended for inline installations on 1/4 inch pipe where backflow prevention is required without significant pressure drop. Its PTFE construction suits applications involving aggressive chemicals, ultra-pure water systems, laboratory gas lines, or similar service environments where metallic valve bodies are not acceptable. The PARGRIP x PARGRIP end connections are compatible with Parker PARGRIP tube and pipe fittings, providing a secure, tool-assisted grip connection. Operating temperature is rated down to -32 degrees F and up to 130 degrees F.
Designed for inline installation on 1/4 inch pipe systems using Parker PARGRIP fittings. Suitable for use within the stated temperature range of -32 degrees F to 130 degrees F and at pressures consistent with a 120 WOG rating.
Installation should be performed by a qualified plumber, pipefitter, or instrumentation technician familiar with the system media and applicable codes. Depressurize and isolate the line completely before removing any existing fitting or valve. Verify flow direction markings on the valve body before making final connections. PTFE components should not be over-torqued; follow Parker fitting assembly instructions for PARGRIP connections to avoid deformation of the valve body.
