The PARKER CV-1-2222 is an inline check valve designed for 1/8 inch pipe connections using PARGRIP x PARGRIP end fittings. Built with a polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) body and PTFE spring, this valve provides reliable one-directional flow control in fluid and gas systems where contamination resistance and chemical compatibility are priorities. It carries a 120 WOG pressure rating and a crack pressure range of 0.25 to 0.75 psi, making it suitable for low-pressure instrumentation and process lines. Plumbers, pipefitters, and instrumentation technicians install this valve where backflow prevention is required in compact tubing runs.
This check valve is used in residential and light commercial instrumentation, laboratory, and process control applications where small-bore tubing is routed inline. The PARGRIP push-to-connect end connections simplify installation in tight spaces without the need for thread sealants or compression tools beyond standard hand-tightening. Its PTFE construction makes it well-suited for corrosive media and high-purity fluid lines where metal body valves would be unsuitable.
Designed as an OEM-style inline check valve for 1/8 inch pipe systems using PARGRIP push-to-connect fittings in low-pressure fluid and gas applications.
Installation should be performed by a qualified plumber or instrumentation technician following applicable codes such as the IPC or relevant process piping standards. Shut off and depressurize the line completely before removing or installing the valve. Verify flow direction marked on the valve body before securing connections. Do not exceed the rated 120 WOG pressure or the maximum operating temperature of 130 degrees F.
