The PARKER CV-1-1144 is a 1/4 inch inline check valve designed to allow one-directional fluid flow while preventing backflow in piping systems. The body and spring are both constructed from polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), making this valve resistant to a wide range of chemicals and corrosive media. It connects via female NPT (FNPT) threads on both ends and carries a Cv rating of 1.510 with a crack pressure range of 0.25 to 0.75 psi. Plumbers, HVAC technicians, and industrial piping contractors install this type of valve in liquid and gas lines where backflow prevention is required without the use of metallic wetted components.
This valve is suited for residential and light commercial applications where chemical compatibility is a priority, such as chemical feed lines, water treatment systems, and low-pressure fluid handling circuits. The all-PTFE construction eliminates corrosion concerns common with brass or stainless check valves in aggressive media environments. The 1/4 inch FNPT x FNPT end connections allow direct threaded installation into standard pipe fittings. Operating temperature range runs from -32.00 degrees F minimum up to 130.00 degrees F maximum, keeping it appropriate for ambient and moderate-temperature service.
Designed as an OEM-style inline check valve for 1/4 inch FNPT threaded piping systems requiring non-metallic wetted components and backflow prevention.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber or qualified piping technician. Shut off system pressure and depressurize the line completely before removing or installing any check valve. Apply thread sealant tape or compound appropriate for PTFE-compatible service to the male NPT threads mating to this valve. Observe the flow direction arrow or marking on the valve body to ensure correct orientation in the line.
