The PARKER CV-1-1122 is an inline check valve designed to allow one-directional flow and prevent backflow in fluid or gas lines. The body and spring are both constructed from polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), making this valve well-suited for chemically aggressive media where metal components would degrade. It connects via 1/8 inch female NPT (FNPT) ports on both ends. The crack pressure range of 0.25 to 0.75 psi keeps line pressure requirements low, and the Cv rating of 0.610 indicates the flow capacity through the valve. Operating temperature ranges from -32 degrees F to 130 degrees F. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and fluid system technicians are the typical installers.
This check valve is suited for low-pressure inline applications in pneumatic, chemical handling, laboratory, and light fluid distribution systems. The all-PTFE construction resists corrosion from acids, solvents, and other aggressive media. The compact 1/8 inch pipe size makes it appropriate for instrument tubing runs, small-bore chemical lines, and similar applications where a lightweight, chemically inert one-way flow device is required.
Designed as an OEM-style inline check valve for 1/8 inch FNPT threaded pipe systems requiring chemically resistant, low-crack-pressure backflow prevention.
Installation is typically performed by licensed plumbers or pipefitters in accordance with applicable codes such as the IPC. Depressurize and isolate the line completely before removing any existing valve or fitting. PTFE thread tape or compatible thread sealant should be applied to the male threads mating to these FNPT ports. Do not overtighten the connections, as PTFE fittings are more susceptible to thread damage than metal bodies.
