The PARKER C552104 is a 1/4 inch instrumentation plug valve designed for precise flow shutoff in instrumentation and process piping systems. It features a brass body with a nitrile seal and a lever handle for quick quarter-turn operation. Rated to 250 psi maximum working pressure, this valve handles temperatures from -40 degrees F to 175 degrees F, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial and commercial instrumentation applications. It ships in a package quantity of two and is intended for installation by licensed plumbers, pipefitters, or instrumentation technicians.
This valve is used in instrumentation tubing and small-bore process lines where a compact, reliable shutoff is required. The MNPT x MNPT end connection on both sides allows direct threaded installation into standard NPT fittings. Typical applications include gauge isolation, sample lines, and instrument impulse lines in commercial and light industrial settings. The nitrile seal material is compatible with a broad range of media including air, water, and many petroleum-based fluids. Package includes 2 valves per unit.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-install plug valve for 1/4 inch MNPT instrumentation and process piping applications requiring a brass body lever-handle shutoff valve.
Installation should be performed by a qualified plumber, pipefitter, or instrumentation technician in accordance with applicable codes. Depressurize and isolate the line completely before removing or installing any valve. Apply thread sealant appropriate for the service media to all NPT connections. Do not exceed the rated working pressure or temperature limits for the seal material selected.
