The PARKER BD-S22-1 is a stainless steel pneumatic hose coupler designed for industrial interchange compressed air and pneumatic fluid systems. It accepts a 1/4-18 NPTF threaded connection and features a 1/4 inch body diameter with an overall length of 2.05 inches. Rated to 300 psi maximum working pressure, this coupler handles temperatures from -40 degrees F to 250 degrees F, making it suitable for demanding shop and process environments. Installation is performed by qualified pipefitters, HVAC mechanics, or industrial maintenance technicians. Depressurize and lock out the compressed air supply before removing or installing any pneumatic fitting. NPTF threads are designed to seal on the thread form, but applying thread sealant consistent with the system fluid and pressure rating remains common practice. Inspect mating plug and coupler for wear or damage before returning the system to service.
