The PARKER BD-PT-00209 is a steel 90-degree flared tube elbow fitting designed for high-pressure hydraulic and fluid power systems. It connects a 37-degree flared tube end to an O-ring boss (ORB) port, providing a reliable 90-degree directional change in tubing runs. The fitting accepts a tube with a 1-1/4 inch outside diameter and threads at 1-5/8-12 on the ORB end. Rated to 3000 psi static working pressure and 4000 psi dynamic working pressure, with a maximum working temperature of 500 degrees F, this elbow is built for demanding industrial, mobile hydraulic, and heavy-equipment applications. Installation is performed by qualified hydraulic or mechanical technicians.
This fitting is used wherever a 90-degree direction change is needed in a steel tubing circuit terminating at an ORB-ported component such as a pump, valve, or manifold. Typical applications include mobile hydraulics, industrial machinery, and fluid power plumbing where high-pressure steel tube lines are routed to component ports. The 37-degree flare seat conforms to SAE J514 and ISO 8434-2 standards, making it suitable for systems built to those specifications. It is sold individually with a minimum order quantity of one.
Designed as an OEM-style flared tube fitting for hydraulic and fluid power systems using 1-1/4 inch OD steel tubing with 37-degree flare ends connecting to SAE ORB-ported components. Conforms to ISO 8434-2, SAE 070220, and SAE J514 standards.
Installation should be performed by a qualified hydraulic technician or pipefitter. Depressurize and isolate the hydraulic circuit fully before removing or installing any fittings. Inspect the flare seat and ORB O-ring groove for damage before assembly, and ensure the O-ring is seated properly before torquing the ORB end. Follow SAE J514 and system manufacturer torque guidelines for the tube nut and ORB port connection.
