The PARKER BD-KP4434 is a stainless steel compression tube ferrule designed to create leak-free compression fittings in tubing systems. The ferrule seats between the compression nut and fitting body, deforming slightly under torque to seal against the outside diameter of the tube. It is used in plumbing, HVAC, and instrumentation applications where a reliable, reusable mechanical seal is required. This part fits tubing with a 1/2 inch outside diameter. Each package contains two ferrules. Installation is typically performed by licensed plumbers or HVAC technicians working on copper, stainless, or compatible tubing assemblies.
Compression ferrules are used wherever a compression-style tube fitting is specified, including domestic water supply lines, refrigerant-free instrumentation lines, and light industrial fluid systems. This ferrule is suited for both residential and light commercial applications. It pairs with a standard compression nut and fitting body of the matching 1/2 inch OD tube size. The stainless steel construction makes it appropriate for environments where corrosion resistance is a factor.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or service component for compression tube fitting assemblies using 1/2 inch outside diameter tubing.
Installation is performed by licensed plumbers or qualified HVAC technicians. Shut off and depressurize the fluid or gas line before disassembling any fitting. Hand-thread the compression nut first to seat the ferrule squarely on the tube, then tighten with a wrench per the fitting manufacturer's assembly guidelines. Do not overtighten, as excessive force can damage the ferrule and compromise the seal.
