The PARKER BD-KP4432 is a stainless steel compression tube ferrule used to create leak-tight compression fittings in tubing assemblies. The ferrule seats against the fitting body and tube wall when the compression nut is tightened, forming a secure mechanical seal without soldering or welding. Stainless steel construction provides corrosion resistance in demanding environments including plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, and instrumentation systems. This SKU is packaged in a quantity of 5 per pack. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and instrumentation technicians are the primary installers of this component.
Compression ferrules of this type are used in residential and commercial applications wherever tubing must be joined or terminated with a removable, pressure-rated connection. Typical install scenarios include copper or stainless tubing runs in plumbing supply lines, pneumatic control circuits, and refrigerant or hydraulic instrument lines. The ferrule works in conjunction with a matching compression nut and fitting body rated for the tubing outside diameter.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement ferrule for use with standard compression tube fittings. Verify outside diameter and ferrule geometry against the mating fitting body and nut before installation.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber or HVAC technician. Shut off and depressurize the fluid or gas line before disassembling any compression fitting. Seat the ferrule squarely on the tubing before threading and tightening the compression nut — cross-threading or cocking the ferrule will cause a leak. Follow applicable IPC or IFGC guidelines for the system type and working pressure.
