The PARKER BD-KP4375 is a brass compression tube ferrule designed to create leak-free, pressure-tight connections in compression fitting assemblies. The ferrule seats against the fitting body and biting ring to form a mechanical seal when the compression nut is tightened, eliminating the need for thread sealant on the tube joint. Machined from brass, this ferrule offers corrosion resistance and reliable performance in fluid and gas line applications. It is sized for 1/2 inch outside diameter tubing. Each package contains 10 ferrules, making it practical for service calls and small installation projects where multiple connections are being made.
Brass compression ferrules of this type are used in plumbing, HVAC refrigerant-side copper tubing, pneumatic control lines, and light-duty hydraulic circuits. Licensed plumbers and HVAC technicians install these during new construction and retrofit work wherever compression fittings are the specified connection method. They are commonly used on copper and compatible soft-metal tubing runs in residential and light commercial systems.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement ferrule for use with standard compression fitting assemblies sized for 1/2 inch outside diameter tubing.
Installation is performed by licensed plumbers or HVAC technicians following applicable IPC and IFGC guidelines. Shut off the water or gas supply and relieve system pressure before disassembling any compression fitting. Slide the ferrule onto the tubing before inserting the tube into the fitting body, then hand-tighten the compression nut before applying wrench torque. Do not reuse a previously compressed ferrule, as the deformed seating surface will not reliably re-seal.
