The PARKER B7V3BCNXXA is a normally closed, 2-way solenoid valve designed for fluid and gas control in industrial and mechanical systems. With a 1/2 inch NPT port and an aluminum body, it is built for environments where lightweight corrosion-resistant construction is needed. The valve operates within a working pressure range of 35 to 145 psi and carries a flow coefficient (Cv) of 5.9, making it suitable for moderate-flow applications. A Buna-N seal provides reliable compatibility with a wide range of media. Licensed technicians and industrial mechanics typically specify and install this valve in automated process lines, HVAC equipment, and fluid handling assemblies.
This valve is appropriate for residential and light commercial applications where a normally closed, electrically actuated shutoff is required. It fits into pneumatic, hydraulic, or fluid-service piping where 1/2 inch NPT connections are standard. Typical installation scenarios include automated irrigation, compressed air systems, cooling circuits, and OEM equipment builds. Maximum media temperature is 120 degrees F. Note that solenoid coils are not included with this valve body and must be sourced separately before the valve can be electrically actuated.
Designed as a direct-fit replacement or OEM-style solenoid valve for systems requiring a 1/2 inch NPT, normally closed, 2-way valve with an aluminum body. Solenoid coil not included and must be ordered separately for electrical actuation.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician or pipefitter in accordance with applicable codes, including IFGC or IPC requirements where relevant. Shut off all system pressure and de-energize any electrical circuits before removing or installing the valve. Apply appropriate thread sealant to NPT connections and verify flow direction before final assembly. Do not exceed the rated working pressure or temperature limits during operation.
