The PARKER B20-5BP is a brass pneumatic hose coupling designed for industrial compressed-air and fluid-transfer lines. It uses a Push-Lok hose barb thread type and belongs to Parker's Series 20 Industrial Interchange lineup. The 1/4 inch body diameter mates with 3/8 inch inside diameter hose, and the coupling is rated for up to 300 psi maximum working pressure. Brass construction provides good corrosion resistance in typical shop-air environments. The overall length is 2.47 inches and the hex size is 0.75 inches, making it compatible with standard open-end or adjustable wrenches. Licensed HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical contractors as well as industrial maintenance technicians are the primary installers.
This coupling is suited for industrial compressed-air systems in both light commercial and heavy industrial settings. The Industrial Interchange configuration allows connection with other Series 20-compatible couplers and fittings commonly found on shop tools, pneumatic actuators, and air-supply manifolds. The Push-Lok hose barb end connects directly to 3/8 inch ID flexible hose without requiring separate clamps, simplifying installation. The temperature range of -40 degrees F to 250 degrees F makes it appropriate for both cold-storage facility air lines and high-ambient industrial environments.
Designed for use with Series 20 Industrial Interchange pneumatic systems and compatible with 3/8 inch ID Push-Lok hose in compressed-air service lines.
Depressurize and lock out the air supply before removing or installing any pneumatic coupling. Push-Lok barb ends require the hose to be fully seated to the barb shoulder for a secure, leak-free connection. Use a wrench on the 0.75 inch hex to tighten the fitting; do not over-torque brass fittings against mating threads. Follow applicable facility safety and compressed-air system codes during service.
