The PARKER AB.1380.10 is a nonmetallic breather filter designed to remove airborne particulates from hydraulic reservoir or fluid system venting circuits. Rated at 10 microns, it captures fine contaminants before they enter the fluid reservoir during pressure equalization. The filter body is constructed from nitrile and nylon, with a steel cap, making it resistant to common hydraulic and industrial fluids. It mounts from the top position and is suited for use on fluid reservoirs, gearboxes, and similar vented enclosures. Licensed mechanics, hydraulic technicians, and industrial maintenance professionals are the typical installers for this component.
This breather is applicable to hydraulic reservoirs, gearboxes, and other fluid system enclosures that require vented protection against particulate ingress. The top-mount configuration positions it on reservoir fill ports or dedicated vent ports. With a maximum working pressure of 5 psi and a maximum working temperature of 90 degrees C, it is suited for light-duty to medium-duty industrial fluid systems. It is sold individually and is packaged as a single-unit item.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement breather filter for hydraulic reservoirs, gearboxes, and fluid system enclosures that use top-mount breather fittings with a 1.75-inch cap diameter.
Installation is typically performed by hydraulic technicians or industrial maintenance mechanics. Before servicing, depressurize the fluid system and clean the mounting port area to prevent contamination entry. Hand-tighten the breather into the port and confirm a secure seal without over-torquing the nylon body. Inspect the port threads for wear or damage before installation.
