The PARKER A8MTS4-MG is a push-to-connect male swivel branch tee tube fitting designed for pneumatic and fluid distribution lines. It accepts 1/2 inch OD tubing on the push-to-connect ports and terminates with a 1/4 inch NPTF male swivel thread for inline branch connections. The body is molded from POM (polyoxymethylene), a rigid acetal resin that resists wear and chemical exposure in low-pressure service environments. The EPDM O-ring provides a reliable seal across the connection points. Rated to 250 psi, this fitting is suited for compressed air, water, and compatible fluid lines in light industrial and mechanical systems. HVAC techs, plumbers, and industrial maintenance professionals install this type of fitting.
This fitting is used in pneumatic control lines, tubing manifold branches, water distribution runs, and equipment hook-ups where a tee branch with a threaded male port is needed. The swivel design allows the threaded end to rotate for alignment during installation without disturbing the tubing connections. Typical applications include compressed air distribution, instrument air systems, and light-duty fluid circuits in both residential and light commercial equipment.
Designed as an OEM-style push-to-connect branch tee for systems using 1/2 inch OD tubing and 1/4 inch NPTF male threaded ports in pneumatic or low-pressure fluid circuits.
Installation is performed by plumbers, HVAC technicians, or industrial mechanics familiar with push-to-connect fittings and NPTF thread makeup. Depressurize and de-energize the system completely before servicing any fitting. Ensure tubing is cut square and deburred before insertion to achieve a proper seal at the collet. Verify thread compatibility before makeup, as NPTF threads are not interchangeable with all NPT or BSP configurations.
