The PARKER A6WY6-MG is a push-to-connect union Y tube fitting designed for tube-to-tube connections in pneumatic and fluid distribution systems. Constructed from polyoxymethylene (POM), a high-strength acetal resin, this fitting handles working pressures up to 300 psi. The union Y configuration splits or combines flow across three ports, all sharing the same 3/8 inch outside diameter tube size. Installation requires no tools for tube insertion — the internal collet grips and seals the tubing on contact. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and pneumatic system technicians are the primary installers.
This fitting is suited for light industrial, pneumatic control, and fluid handling applications where a reliable three-way Y branch connection is needed between same-size tubing runs. The 3/8 inch OD size is common in compressed air distribution, process control lines, and light-duty plumbing setups. Its tan POM construction offers good chemical resistance to many common fluids and makes it appropriate for environments where metal fittings would corrode or where weight reduction matters.
Designed for use with 3/8 inch outside diameter tubing in push-to-connect pneumatic and fluid system applications. Verify tubing material and wall thickness compatibility with POM push-to-connect fittings before installation.
Shut off and depressurize the system completely before removing or installing any fittings. Ensure tubing ends are cut squarely and deburred before inserting into the fitting collet — irregular cuts can compromise the seal. Push tubing firmly into the fitting until it bottoms out against the internal stop. To release tubing, depress the collet ring while pulling the tube free. Follow applicable pneumatic or plumbing system codes for the jurisdiction and application.
