The PARKER A6TMC6 is a push-to-connect tube stem adapter designed for quick, tool-free tube connections in pneumatic and fluid-handling systems. Built from polyoxymethylene (POM), this fitting accepts 3/8-inch outside-diameter tubing and threads into a 3/8-inch NPTF port, rated to 300 psi working pressure. The tan-colored POM body resists moisture and many common hydraulic and pneumatic fluids, making it suitable for light industrial, HVAC controls, and plumbing instrument lines. Installation requires no ferrules, sleeves, or compression tools — the push-to-connect design locks tubing with a single insertion. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and industrial maintenance technicians are the typical installers.
This adapter is appropriate for use in residential and light commercial applications where push-to-connect fittings are used to transition between tubing runs and threaded port connections. It is well suited for instrument air lines, control tubing, pneumatic actuator circuits, and low-pressure fluid-transfer setups. The NPTF thread type provides a pressure-tight dry-seal connection without relying solely on thread sealant. Typical installs involve connecting flexible poly or nylon tubing to valve bodies, manifolds, or equipment panels with threaded ports.

Installation is performed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, or qualified industrial maintenance personnel. Depressurize and isolate the line completely before removing any existing fitting or inserting this adapter. Confirm the mating port is NPTF — do not force an NPTF fitting into NPT or BSPT ports without verifying thread compatibility. To release tubing from the push-to-connect collet, depress the release ring while pulling the tubing straight out.
