The PARKER A6TMC4 is a push-to-connect tube stem adapter designed to create a fast, tool-free connection between a push-to-connect tube fitting and a threaded port. It accepts 3/8 inch OD tubing and terminates in a 1/4 inch NPTF thread for a pressure-tight seal without sealant tape when properly mated. The body is molded from polyoxymethylene (POM), a rigid acetal resin well suited to fluid and pneumatic systems where chemical resistance and dimensional stability matter. Rated to 300 psi, this fitting is sized for the light pneumatic and fluid-control plumbing common in HVAC, refrigeration controls, and instrumentation panels. Installation requires no tools on the tube side — tubing is inserted and locked mechanically.
This adapter is used in residential and light commercial applications where push-to-connect convenience is needed at a threaded port entry point. Typical scenarios include connecting small-bore tubing to valve bodies, manifolds, or instrumentation ports threaded 1/4 inch NPTF.
