The PARKER A6TEU4-MG is a push-to-connect tube plug fitting designed to cap off 3/8 inch OD tubing quickly and securely without tools or thread sealant. Constructed from polyoxymethylene (POM), a rigid acetal-based thermoplastic, this fitting resists moisture, mild chemicals, and mechanical wear in typical fluid-handling environments. It is rated to 300 psi, making it suitable for compressed air, pneumatic control lines, and low-pressure fluid circuits. The push-to-connect mechanism allows technicians to terminate a line in seconds by simply inserting the tube end into the fitting body, where internal collet teeth grip and seal the connection automatically.
This plug fitting is used to terminate or isolate unused tube ports in pneumatic panels, HVAC control systems, fluid distribution manifolds, and plumbing assemblies. It is a common service component when reconfiguring pneumatic circuits, capping off inactive ports during system modification, or blanking test ports after commissioning. The 3/8 inch OD sizing fits standard polyethylene, nylon, and polyurethane tubing of that outside diameter. Installation is performed by HVAC technicians, industrial mechanics, and plumbers working on push-to-connect pneumatic or fluid systems.
Designed as an OEM-style push-to-connect plug for 3/8 inch OD tubing in pneumatic and fluid-handling systems.
Depressurize and isolate the line completely before inserting or removing any push-to-connect fitting. Ensure the tube end is cut square and free of burrs before insertion to achieve a proper collet seal. No thread tools are required, but a tube cutter is recommended over a knife cut to ensure a clean, square end. Verify the system pressure does not exceed the 300 psi rating after returning the circuit to service.
