The PARKER A6TCB6 is a push-to-connect tube-to-barb fitting designed for use in pneumatic and fluid transfer lines where a quick, tool-free tube connection to a barbed port is required. Manufactured from polyoxymethylene (POM), a high-strength acetal resin, the fitting handles pressures up to 300 psi and resists wear, moisture, and many common chemicals. The EPDM O-ring provides a reliable seal against air and water. At 0.05 pounds and a compact 1 inch length, it integrates cleanly into tight plumbing or pneumatic assemblies. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and pneumatic system technicians are the primary installers of this fitting type.
This fitting is suited for residential and light commercial applications involving tubing with a 3/8 inch outside diameter. Typical uses include compressed air distribution lines, water purification tubing, pneumatic control systems, and HVAC drain or sensing line assemblies. The push-to-connect end accepts standard 3/8 inch OD tubing, while the barbed end connects to flexible hose or soft tubing routed to valves, manifolds, or equipment ports. The gray POM construction is compatible with both dry and wet service environments within the rated pressure limit.
Designed as an OEM-style push-to-connect fitting for pneumatic and fluid transfer systems using 3/8 inch OD tubing.
Installation is typically performed by licensed plumbers or HVAC technicians following applicable IPC or IFGC guidelines for the service fluid involved. Before installation, depressurize and drain the line completely. Ensure tubing ends are cut square and free of burrs before inserting into the push-to-connect port to achieve a leak-free seal. Verify that system operating pressure does not exceed the 300 psi rating of this fitting.
