The PARKER A6MES6-MG is a push-to-connect male swivel elbow tube fitting designed for tube-to-pipe connections in fluid and pneumatic systems. Manufactured from polyoxymethylene (POM), a high-strength acetal resin, this fitting accepts 3/8 inch OD tubing and connects to 3/8 inch NPTF male pipe threads. The swivel elbow design allows the pipe-thread end to rotate during installation, making it easier to align tubing runs without twisting the tube itself. Rated at 300 psi, this fitting is suited for low-to-medium pressure applications. Installation requires no tools on the push-to-connect end — tubing seats and locks with a straight push.
This fitting is used in compressed air lines, pneumatic control circuits, water distribution manifolds, and light fluid transfer systems found in industrial, commercial, and light manufacturing environments. The 90-degree elbow configuration is well suited for tight routing around panels or bulkheads. Plumbers, pipefitters, pneumatic system technicians, and HVAC controls installers commonly specify POM push-to-connect fittings where chemical resistance and moderate pressure ratings are required.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for push-to-connect pneumatic and fluid systems using 3/8 inch OD tubing and 3/8 inch NPTF threaded port connections.
Installation of push-to-connect fittings should be performed by a qualified plumber, pipefitter, or pneumatic systems technician. Depressurize and isolate the system before removing or installing any fittings. Ensure tubing is cut square and free of burrs before seating into the push-to-connect end; damaged tubing ends can compromise the seal. Verify that the mating port thread is NPTF and apply appropriate thread sealant per the system fluid compatibility requirements.
